Any idea of the sqft of the townhomes? Also, from what I can see, entrance to the townhomes is on the 2nd floor of the building, and not direct access to the external area of the building?

Not sure but maybe this is the external entrance for the town house owners to get onto the second floor? I doubt visitors/owners would have to walk through the main lobby, take an elevator to second, then walk across the court yard just to get access to the town houses.. just my guess

Ah ok, that makes sense.

I can't find floorplans for the townhomes online... the site says they are all suites, but I can't believe a townhome will be a one-bedroom type of set up.

I believe Anthem was selling the last of the townhomes back in June, they were atleast 2 bedrooms and a couple 3 bedrooms. All had 2 parking, 1 storage

Anthem sent an email for remaining units, they only quoted prices for the unit #
It was on this website that you could see floor plans but it has since been taken off, probably sold out.

This building topped out last July. Wtf has taken so long. Not like we’re in a housing crisis or anything.

Thanks.
Brentwood vibes - on one facade, anyways.

taken earlier this week. There are some lights embedded in the sidewalks (not visible in pic) around the building, nice touch.

I’ve lived in the area for 14 months now and the crane has been up for all 14 of them. Not a single thing has happened on that site. Still a giant hole. I don’t know if this project is paused or bankrupt but, it doesn’t seem to be moving at all.

Hopefully they can pave that grass patch over because it will be a muddy mess come fall time!

I've never heard of the developer, and their website brings up a virus/phishing warning, my computer won't even let me go to it lol. They probably were amateurs or crooks or both, and project is stalled. It is marketed by Rennie though, who should have known better. Not a good look for a high profile brokerage like that to be a part of some sketchy developer and an orphan development site with a crane. They should have brought in one of their developer friends to take over, god knows they are well connected in the industry

The developer, Everest, are from Alberta, and have developed several projects in the past 20 years. They seem to have US and Canadian schemes, so may have over-reached just as covid and rising interest rates have hit several development companies. They must have pre-sold enough to start construction, as they'll be almost certainly be relying on bank financing like almost every other developer, so Rennie's work was done before construction started.

The warning about their website is because the security certificate has lapsed - you would have seen the same message on this website three days ago! It may mean nothing, and certainly doesn't mean they're amateurs or 'crooks'.
