Killer view! You have possibly the best skyscraper geek vantage point in the city.

Yeah. It's not too high or too low. The main towers are lined up perfectly.

It's crazy how relatively small the Petro Canada tower looks now - it was always the biggest and tallest growing up as a kid. Encana and Brookfield are much more girthy.

Ya it’s hard to believe it’s about to be bumped to fourth place by Telus Sky.

Love that Edmonton shot with the paddler. One thing I've noticed about Canadian cities that's often missing elsewhere is how close to nature one can get; even in the biggest cities. That paddler doesn't look out of place. Try putting him in London's Thames and he'd look ridiculous. Likewise, kayaking in front of the CN Tower? I see it all the time.

Good observation, very true. I can't imagine a wild space like Torontos ravines or Split, with foxes, deer, etc. In the middle oh HK, Paris, London or even Chicago.

Well, Hong Kong does have all those mountains bisecting the city...

You'd still look crazy canoeing in the Harbour, though.

Then again, this may be related to cities like Toronto and Edmonton not being big destinations for oceangoing vessels and container ships. Hard to imagine paddling around the Narrows in Halifax, or Vancouver Harbour, or even smaller ports like Saint John.
