21C and sunny. Gorgeous day!

Low of 7C this morning.

The warmspot was Petawawa, ON at 23.6C.

Warmest low was Lytton, BC at 12.6C.
Low in Osoyoos ended up being 13.5C yesterday. Not enough for the warmest of the year crown.

This past Saturday has been described as Vancouver's darkest day. And yet, it was the sunniest of days weather-wise.
Sunday was also sunny in the afternoon but I wasn't in the mood to get out and take pictures.

Monday was overcast with drizzle and light rain. Ironically, watering restrictions start on Thursday, May 1st.
You can only water your lawn one day a week.

Monday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 12 C, the low was 10 C.

True! Spring must be a great time to travel in Canada, and I believe that autumn, with its beautiful foliage, must also be a wonderful season to explore your vast country

I guess they form with winter ice. So, even those potholes on the roads are works of art

Not sure why they didn't replace it, perhaps soil conditions but it made that shot even more iconic. The arbutus was actually on top of that hill not behind it, a bit hard to tell in the pic.

Here's a Flickr pic of it from way back in 2007:

Thanks all. Yah Buchart can look unreal at times. I didn't know all of the tulips are dug up next month and replaced by other plants. Never have gotten a bad shot there.
As for Mt Robson shot, that is one of the few I have with clouds.

3PM and Sarnia, ON is measuring 28.6C. New yearly high. I believe we will be just short of the first 30C but who knows.

Humidex of 35 in both Sarnia and Windsor as well. Highest such readings this year.

24C with a humidex of 28. Sunny this morning. Rain at noon then it was cloudier but still mild. More rounds of rain this afternoon included the first t-storm of the season. Did not hear thunder but definately saw lightning.

Low of 11C this morning.

The warmspot was Egbert, ON at 28.8C. New yearly high.

Warmest low was Point Pelee, ON at 13.7C.

Sarnia and Windsor with a humidex of 35. Obviously highest such reading this year. Windsor's April all-time humidex record is 36 so the 35 is very impressive for this time of the year.
Sarnia's April humidex record is 35 so they tied it.

Good perspective. At first news I was shocked, then sad, then confused, then mad, now after viewing sunniest of days I'm sad again.
