That's good height for Ottawa! So, is it just a couple areas they're easing the height restrictions in Ottawa? Maybe someday soon Calgary can ease up on the shadowing restrictions in Eua Claire and a couple other spots close to DT.

Les Jardins de Babylone; 26/40 storeys proposal for the south-east corner of Guy and René-Lévesque. With Roccabella (2X), Icone, Yul (2X) and Maritimes, this is the 7th 40+ storeys tower proposed for René-Lévesque between Drummond and Guy.

Very good to see. This project is an interesting one, financed by Qatar business people and will cater mostly to an international clientele. The project next door, YUL, is financed by chinese business and will likewise cater to a mostly foreign (Asian) clientele.

If this project goes up, Rene-Levesque boulevard will surely become a grand one (as it was intended to be, like 70 years ago but never materialized).

This map from Mtlskyline will help figure out where this building fits in the current R-L boul. boom.

Agree. It's a very under rated street, but set to finally get the attention it needed.
