I believe they showed how it was done in an article about the mini- building boom in the Denver Post, a few weeks back...

Yes exactly. If you look at the pic you'll see one section towards the top that's slightly wider than the others. That section contains the hydrolic ram used to lift the top portion, where the jib rests, up while the crane grabs another section from the ground. The new section slides into the blank space just under the ram. Then the process starts over again. At some point the upper portion of the crane is attached to the frame of the building to add extra support, especially in wind.

fyi, they have started putting the prefabricated - panel / windows on the residential portion of the development. i was gonna take pics, but my camera phone sucks.

I can't wiat to see that roof! I think it will be nice to have some type of design downtown that is not another box top. Now if the freggin Spire will just start back up, we will be in business baby...

She is looking great! Wow great shot IMB does anyone else see all the potential in the immediate surrounding area? OMG this section of the City could one day turn out fairly nice IMO. I LOVE IT!!! How could one not love this building???
