That would actually be very cool, provided it is open to the public.

Welcome friend! It's always good to see new people join this old forum.

Also, did anyone else notice the air taxi landing pads on the roofs of two of the buildings in the RL renderings? Pretty interesting.

Yeah I noticed that, the mill race development in Provo by the same developer has air taxi pads on it too!

I read that article this morning. I love BSL, and they always have plenty of information. However, I thought that project seemed pretty small, especially for BSL to take notice.

I went to that website that had the renderings for the RL development and found a project that was supposed to be built next to the Jordan River. However, the description didn't have an adress or even a city where it was proposed. It seemed more like a vision project than anything that is actually going to get built. You guys always seem to have lots of info and connections that I don't. Do you know where/when that is going to happen, if it is at all? I live in West Jordan, just down the street from the river, and there are plenty of empty parcels of land right on the riverbanks just waiting to be developed.

As far as I can tell the Jordan River project is in south Lehi over on the west end of Main Street. It matches up with the site plans at least they have on their website.

LOL, you know a project is legit when it includes pads for giant drones and lakes for windsurfing in the middle of a city.

I think we are only a few years away from air taxis being a thing. I don't think everyone will (or should) own one but the market for an taxi service will be there and the technology isn't far off.

E-VTOL aircraft are going to be much cheaper to operate and maintain than traditional helicopters. Qualified and certified pilots will be a commodity.

I think a developer could purchase the hideous twins. The two red brick buildings built late 70's/early 80's, just to the east. Knock them down then put something more meaningful there to provide balance. Although I would shed no tears for the removal of the Holiday Inn Express either.
