Oops.. you're right. but I think you mean 103A.

Speaking of Jasper & 82.. this site has sold I believe, and the apartment building behind the existing store has been demolished

Would love to see this move, along with Tango and the other mystery tower to give that end of Jasper a big boost and keep the RK momentum going

That area of Cromdale is being totally reconstructed in 2014

that 102 ave utility relocates is going to be a mess during farmers market saturdays when the only access to the alley between 104 and 105 is onto 102.

I'll hold my tongue.... but seriously, I can't see this being the catalyst that some think it will be.

DECL had a great meeting with the downtown beat patrol from EPS last night. There are now 16 new beat officers for Jasper from 99st-121st from the valley to 104ave. Shifts of 8 and a very enthusiastic team.

Excellent to see and be sure to introduce yourself when you come across them.

-----------------

Downtown Division - District D3

The boundaries of district three:

121 Street east to 99 Street
105 Avenue south to the river
District three is made up of four communities: Oliver, Downtown, Rossdale, and Victoria Park. They are all different and offer a variety of shops and services that cater to the residents and visitors of these communities.

The communities of Rossdale and Victoria Park have wonderful walking and bicycle trails along the river that are like no other. The community of Downtown has the Jasper Avenue entertainment district that is host to a plethora of nighttime patrons every night of the week. The community of Oliver is known for its unique beauty and friendly residents. Wherever you choose to live, play or visit, is an experience like no other.

I wish they were using gondolas like what is proposed from Burnaby to SFU and beyond. They are part of the by sky train system...when built out. I could see them dropping down to Rossdale and then up to Whyte ave. less obtrusive than train tracks and community friendly.

Sounds like Raintree (Wasnea Tower) is indeed going to likely proceed to sales by late spring.

For the past couple of weeks, 101 St sidewalk has been closed due to the construction of Jasper & 101 podium. Getting kinda annoyed by this sidewalk closure coupled with the narrowing of the driving lanes due to the Jasper Ave construction. It's a heavily used pedestrian area due to the MacEwan Arts College and the Chateau Lacombe. One I use to get to work.

Anyone know for how long they're keeping the sidewalk closed?

Week or so i'd guess. Generally speaking they have been very considerate there.

Although I think this illustrates one potential fail of this development...lack of sidewalk room along 101 St. A greater setback with room for a patio might have been better. In fact, I thought there was supposed to be a Central LRT entrance there?
