Definitely a while away, but with both Regina and Moose Jaw putting effort into making a bit of an industrial/economic corridor between the cities, there could be some acceleration in the traffic movement.

That being said, the Global Transportation Hub is in the Regina city limits and there have got to be well over several hundred Moose Jaw folks who work there.

It's a shame Moose Jaw's growth is all going on it's west side or else we could really start to see some union between the cities.

StatsCan's CMA & CA guidelines are exceedingly complex - not as simple as a 35% workforce crossover.

I think we're at least a decade away from Moose Jaw joining Regina's CMA... probably longer.

It looks like the Ohanlon's Patio is about to start the finishing of their patio. I noticed today they have part of it fenced off (in front on Michi) and a bunch of electrical coming out of the walls that they'll likely want to get hooked up pretty quick.

In other patio news, The Lobby Public house has also openend a new patio, looks decent from what I saw.

I wonder if Victoria Tavern will build a patio of some sort, there does seem to be a bit of space on the south side, or a small one out front. They were starting to install new windows today, which I was a bit suprised at, they look nice with black trim. I think they are spending a lot to revitalize this building. It is great to see local entrepreneurs do that to old historic buildings.

To me it seem that they are missing out on lots of revenue . Would it not make more sense to base expansion on a case by case scenario ? Popluation , economic growth household imcome etc etc etc.

Alot people working on the rigs are transient. There company has them in hotels. Have u ben done there and noticed all the hotels that have been built in estevan and weyburn? These people make money and when it slows they leave.

Yeah, I've been through a few times & the hotels are everywhere... just surprises me that none of this is translating into housing starts. But I guess that's the nature of the beast

Ft. Mac isn't much different.

They're only going with towers 100M + for the total in each city.

It would be nice to add Regina's total. Just check the Data Base.

I never realized Regina has so many more tall buildings than Saskatoon. I guess it is one nice thing Regina has, is a relatively compact downtown core/skyline.
