Small wheels (or training wheels I can never remember the right name) daycare center. What you see outside is the play area, the daycare itself is on the 3rd floor behind the elevators next to Donald St. doors.

It's being run by the same board that operates the daycare for the provincial govt employees on Osbourne St. MPI /City Place is providing the space and will be filled by MPI and public kids.

Would not be surprised to see Marks move into Polo Park. The one on Regent Ave West bounced around a few different buildings on 3 of the 4 corners of Regent and Hwy 59 with Crossroads Station being its latest home.

And I agree now since Canadian Tire bought Marks a few years ago the merchandising has moved from strictly industrial work wear to more of an office / casual mix of clothing. I think that if you really want work wear from them you have to buy it from their online store.

People will come downtown for that and make a day outta it with all the great shops and restaurants already established.

The 93-year-old Metropolitan Theatre is slated to reopen next week after a quarter-century of inactivity, thanks to a $16-million renovation, expansion and heritage restoration.

Winnipeg's Canad Inns Corp. has issued invitations for a Nov. 30 unveiling of the newly revitalized theatre, which has been converted into what the hotel chain has called a "multi-function event space."

Great images, but they should update their site lol. 181 Bannatyne is currently a converted condo complex.
