BTW, I was going to say how come there's no thread for it (since it's U/C), but I see now that it's in the "Proposals" section. Maybe it could be moved here...?

As well as another supertall just proposed 2 doors down from the Waldorf (https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=258168)!

Wow. How serious of a proposal is that new one? 3 supertalls, two of them side by side!

From YIMBY:
"Concrete has now been poured through 60 of the building’s 100 floors, bringing construction into the sixth of the tower’s ten stacked cubic volumes. The construction team continues to average approximately one floor every ten days as vertical construction progresses toward the upper tiers."

They’re averaging one floor every ten days, so that’s about what’s left of 2026 (300 days) to finish the last three cubes.

It’s supposed to be 1.5 floors per week, therefore it’s about 6 floors per month. Since there’s about 36 floors left to build, that would mean that it would take about 6 months, depending on the amount of floors left to build, meaning that construction might finish as early as late June to maybe about no later than early August. It all depends on the speed of the construction plus how the workers safely do their jobs. BYW, is this a 24-hr construction site, or does this site have only 2 shifts (morning and afternoon)?
