I know my condo has 4 vents (bathroom x 2, hoodfan, dryer). Not every unit has 2 bathrooms, but at ~8 units per floor it adds up.

In an old condo I was in the bathroom fan vent linked to the dryer fan (dryer was in the bathroom). Not sure if the hoodfan also went to the same vent.

Must have been a code update at some point.

Before 2010 the last construction boom in south van was all the way back when Langara Gardens and Airport Square were built in the 60/70s. Crazy. The opening of the Canada Line completely shifted the neighbourhood's trajectory.

Driving past, the glass on the Ashley Marr towers is very nice (full floor to ceiling pane height).

The buildings could use less spandrel but overall they're turning out quite decent.
