This reference is valid because i shows the Lougheed Town Centre much as it has been (in building content, anyway) for over 30 years.
Creating a new city centre here, will, as stated in an article about malls, this will be similar to Oakridge (in dynamics, not "look")
because it will "double down" on the mall, and residential buildings already there.
As it develops office buildings, and more residential, and takes on a greener more planned form, it will rank along with Brentwood and maybe Metrotown.
This picture, in 25 years, will help make one of those stark surprises and contrasts we see in Vancouver photos from the 70s or such, that we see today.
