That depends. Is the steel structure in the background part of the project? If yes, we can move this to the construction subforum. If it's the tower in the foreground, we are almost there, but they are technically still in site prep (shoring and excavation) and will be moved to construction once foundation elements (usually the first bit of rebar) are laid or caissons are drilled and poured.

Yes, the rising steel is definitely this project. There isn't anything but the Bay (and the Giants ballpark) in the background. And they've been drilling/pouring caissons for some time.

On April 5, in fact, Andrew Nelson at SFYIMBY reported "steel rises", but it was hard to see over the fence and to distinguish it from the various drilling rigs at that time. Now it's obvious.

Link doesn't for me for some reason. Also, just started doing this as a hobby in 2016 haha so idk much back from the 80s master plan.
