Such a thin tower, but such a strong presence.

Hey! No photos of this in a while. I think it might be done, but I don't know if they ever got a CoO.

Nice looking HDR shot! I'm usually not a fan of HDR, but this one looks good.

The crap has been gone for a long time. Now he just doesn't want 8th Ave to be remembered for the crap.
^The back won't be so crappy if they had some ads. The front is great.

This tower is far from crap. It is very unique to 8th Avenue.

I agree, It brings a crisp fresh feel for the area, sort of like a Dubai residential tower in Manhattan.

...and THE BIG APPLE, advertising on skyscrapers over 500 ft is not a good idea.

^^^I think it had the potential to be very interesting, however, I think there are too many small problems with this tower that just make it a whole lot worse

I think this tower is a great addition to the re-creation of 8th avenue. Yes more could have been done with the appearance of the north face, but, given the need to ensure the structural integrity of such a slim structure, I'm willing to tolerate it. What was there before was crap, this bldg is not crap. Its unique and down-right fascinating.

Look at the W Hotel near by, it has advertising. Or are you saying 500 ft is too low to advertise.

Anything is an improvement from what used to be on 8th Avenue. While this tower isn’t by any means jaw dropping, it certainly isn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination.

As for the blank wall, it could’ve been much worse looking, as I thought it would. However it turned out ‘alright’. In terms of advertising, who knows what can amount? This is a very young building so for all we know that can already be panning out. But if it doesn’t that’s ok.

If anything this building emphasizes more the dominance in size of Worldwide Plaza.

What irks me isn't the wall, it is the crown, which just looks very dumb. The exposed equipment, and that circle just make this thing look cheap.
