I saw a full depth reclaimation machine (looks like a piece of farm equipment with big tires) at the Costco site and was wonder what they were using it for. Looking at photos from today I caught it moving away from the SW corner of the site where it had been working. Its tire tracks in disturbed soil. Its working in conjunciton with the compactors over there. They are used to stabilize soft soils so they don't collapse under weight, so there must have been a soft spot over there. Its like a giant carbide rototiller that can inject water and either lime or cement into the soil.
They added a construciton trailer, containers, more boom lifts and materials to the part that was paved yesterday. Most of the remaining interior column bases have forms added since yesterday.
Work progressing at the Douglas Park project, the pile driller is gone and foundation wall extended since I was last there. Arens Road paving is done (but not open). Maka Park had its grand opening on Sunday and was busy today. I took a zoomed in video of the pump track and one of the park.
Ended up taking a lot of data centre photos since the thin overcast made for good lighting. Were doing a concrete slab pour out there tonight. Putting the top layer on another building pad, also some building parts stored on it. Might be close to the end of dirt hauling as they are running out of space on the site.
The drone is definitely having trouble keeping the camera level. Its more noticeable taking photos at the data centre since the angle often has the horizon showing. How much it is off level depends which direction the drone is facing, probably an issue with a gyroscope in the IMU. I'll probably just live with it for a while since I'd rather not have it gone for over a week again right away.
