Update released by Magellan 7/30/09

"...Framing is now complete through floor 77 and cabinetry is being installed on the lower Designer Series Collection floors. Two new “nesting chairs” were delivered and are paired with the existing four to expand the seating area on the outdoor deck. In addition, more outdoor chaises and lounges have been ordered and should come in by the end of the summer season..."

We took an elevator to the penthouse level and then climbed a steel ladder to the roof of Aqua earlier today. The weather was ideal, and we shot tons of photos and video.

YouTube is balking at video uploads for a bit, so check back later for some video from the roof.

^^^^Yeah the report was completely incorrect.....if I am not mistaken Aqua has leased and sold pretty damn well esp considering the market place

Maybe the news picked up on the fact that the hotel portion of Aqua is currently vacant. The first 20 something floors have yet to find a hotel operator.
But thats pretty shoddy reporting, the cookie cutter high rise with only one tenant is in south Florida, and is nowhere near the icon that Aqua is becoming.

"...Our Construction management team reported today that the bamboo wood flooring is currently being installed on floor 53. Cabinet and tile-work continue through floor 55. Potted plants arrived this week for the lobby and the Shore Club amenities..."

I was quoted 3100 on a large 1 bedroom with utilities fee and plus parking. My girl and I may be moving to Chicago within the next couple of years and this was a possibility until they told me my two motorcycles would require rental of two spaces. I told them to fuck themselves because I could easily fit both bikes in one space with a small car. In no way would I pay $600 to park two bikes... not with how many buildings will allow me to park them in the same space as my car or even the two of them in the same space.
