I answered the question, at no point did I refer to these buildings.

From Main + Main's website.

"One block away from Ottawa’s new light-rail station, a mixed-use podium will connect the 23 and 29 storey residential highrise towers."

Do we know how many floors the podium is? I haven't seen the most recent site plan.

Seems taller than 29 when I count off the latest render.

There is a render on their website that shows both buildings at over 30 floors, but this one is accurate at 23/29, assuming the crowns are mechanical.

You seemed pretty convince of your math. I was questioning my own sanity

View from 17th floor across the street. There were ten cranes visible from this vantage point … pretty neat to see the city building up.

I was quite confused about your image for a few seconds until I realized that I was looking at the reflection of your striped shirt

The white shapes on Moon look arbitrary and tacked on like the crosses on Story of Lowest Bidder+Mediocrity. Lipstick on a Pig.

Agreed. Looks quite bad. The Lyon facades and the Queen façade of the north tower don't look too bad. Maybe even decent.

400 Albert looks great from ground level. All the curves are now visible. Up to the second floor at many points.

I walk by Moon every day and I'll say that I really like the ground level. My only issue with it is the blank wall facing west, but that is not something you notice at all from the sidewalk.

I think that these two projects are going to complement each other well. It's definitely becoming one of the most urban areas in Ottawa.

It's nice to see new builds with design elements that differentiate them from the surrounding legacy buildings. I am surprised (but also not surprised) that we don't see more of this happening here in Ottawa. It will be interesting to see how these turn out.

From this morning.

Looks like the site from the Rimap tower is clear.
