Dec.11 '17, my pic
Ever since the release of the documentary film "Supersize Me", Ronald has been in hiding from being accused of creating obese kids who would possibly die of heart disease and other related ailments later in life: a slow death compared to the more dramatic IT clown. Maybe Ronald's next appearance will be 27 years later?

Now Peter Wall has his name on so many buildings around town these days. Vanity rules! But yeah you are right, this set up at the rental place is rather like a day-care centre.

Heard that a grocery store is moving into the ground floor retail on Richards (with the roll-up door) - can't imagine what it would be as it's not a very large space...

That would be sweet for this very quiet part of downtown!

Come to think of it, it's kinda sad that I'm actually excited at the prospect of a Kin's market opening in such a high-density downtown neighbourhood.

A Kin's would be awesome and I'd shop there often! So with people now living in the building should the status change to complete?

In recent nights they started turning on the roof-top light: Just a simple horizontal strip but nonetheless great feature to see, especially for this very dark city when it comes to building lighting.

Saw it the other night from TD Tower - it's quite bright, but being so high up, it's unlikely to shine in anyone's windows
- except maybe the Charleson, if it also faces south.

Note sure where the lights are mounted on the mech penthouse level.

Saw it closer up last night.

The lighting is just up-lighting that lights the mechanical penthouse walls and underside of the rooftop canopy.
Very bright lighting!

... which suggests it's not a rooftop amenity space (?)

The entire penthouse is private and owned by Bruno Wall..as well as all the rooftop space.

Nice - which means they won't change the rooftop lighting!

Looks like others are right about the CRU with the pull-up door/window. It will be a local grocer's going in there, to be called Farm to Table Market. I think they have a Facebook site, and there is already one shop on Marine Drive in West Vancouver

I think that's good news as such lighting features are likely easy to maintain and relatively inexpensive. Good enough for me! Would love to see the neighbouring Vancouver House lit up though: spectacular view driving into downtown on Granville and Burrard bridges!
