I accept what I willingly pay. Except at walk through stage they chopped a section of 3ft x 6.5 ft from the second bedroom. Now my junior 2 bedroom(622.5 sf) is smaller than their 1 bedroom and den category(632sf). The second smaller bedroom in Starling also windowless, is now reduced to 70.75 sf..... a storage room like you said.
I am sorry about your plight with Lumina. Luckily there are still lots of good builders out there. I admit I was envious of how fast Lumina goes up compared to TAB. To be honest I was nervous before the walk through because Shape's delay must mean huge budget over run.... may be they cut corners somewhere? But Shape is true to their word . Their workmanship is first class , I do not see any footage shrinkage anywhere. They allow 1 and half hour through says it all.. They even help me with measurement. I do admit the appliances are small..ish. But then I saw it with my own eyes at their show room... they never try to mislead me. I think you are more disappointed because you think you are being misled.

Took some photos from the top. I put them in spoilers because the images are being displayed quite large.

Nice pictures! A little tip: you can resize images on imgur before you share them so they aren't so large.

Very cool and thank you for posting. It is pretty incredible to see over Altus which is a tall building itself. These towers dwarf anything in the area...for now. Even these views will be compromised in the future.

Like it lots...Thanks! Don't resize, looks great on a 4K. If image is to large in the thread, you can right click the image and open it in a new tap, it will auto size it.

Great shots, thanks!
Cool to see how the development is tracking eastwards.
The 3rd Solo District tower looks skinny compared to the other two.

Is it just me or does it look like it's tilting over?

At first I thought the thin red fence post was the base of it!

Which is better - this or the collection of crayola logs next to Metrotown Station? Or there's always the stacked chairs at Station Square.

I have no issue with confessing that I really like the little octopus (I call him Cthulhu).

I'm not super offended by this street art. I don't think it's trying to be metaphorical or anything, it's just a collection of vaguely Canadian/Burnaby symbols with a somewhat aesthetic look. Adds a little visual interest, something to add to the Instagram story. Not something to get mad about.

I was inside the old mall today, I was surprised how much is completely gone now, mostly empty stores. Coles and Purdys say they are closed for Covid but who knows if they will comeback since they have in other malls already.

Anyway on the one sign of things opening it says White Spot is opening. I wonder if they will close their location at lougheed and gilmore?
