It'll take a long time to erase all that blight downtown

I agree. I always admire that view as I drive down the 14th street hill.

good one. I like the angle quite a bit, perhaps because the Bow does not overwhelm everything.

I like how they maintain the grass berms and slopes along the roadways down there. Makes the city look very well kept. In Edmonton they just let them grow over with weeds and tall grass and it looks terrible

There were a lot of weeds and dandelions last year, seem to be doing better this year.

I like the eastern part of Edmonton's river valley more than the western part, since it feels more raw and undeveloped - as if a slice of the boreal forest was transplanted to the city (even though the boreal forest begins several hundred kilometers to the north). The western part is cut up with roads and golf courses.

I especially like the view from this street here.

The Trump name will soon be disappearing from the Toronto skyline

Good. Now let take out the entire tower from the skyline. That building is objectively terrible. The cladding and the spire are shite.

I think it's the city meets wilderness feel of that picture that I like.

Those grass berms and slopes are mostly on SAIT's campus and they do a wonderful job of keeping everything looking good.

Am I the only one who sees a creepy and unfortunate resemblance between that fencing and what was used in Dachau?

This is possibly the best skyline pic I've seen of Montreal. It actually shows the full scale of it and it is quite large.

Interestingly there is a golf course just behind the trees on the right. and another just up river on the left side. This portion of the river is actually more built up than the western side, at least upstream of the fort.

In the Stantec Tower photo. it gives a nice perceptive with the current Stantec corporate offices in the distant centre left. word is the office portion will be closed up by fall and TI work going all in for move in a year later.
