That brings-up an interesting technicality, depending upon where they're adding/substituting the office floor. If you signed a contract for a unit on the Xth floor and they add offices below the condo section then you're now on the (X+1)th floor and have grounds to cancel and get your deposit back unless there's an identical unit unsold on the former (X-1)th floor, which now moves-up to the new Xth floor so they can still honor the contract. I doubt they'd add the offices above the penthouse level. But if they didn't sell any units on the lowest condo floor they could swap-out those condos for offices and you're still on the Xth. But even if they did sell units on the lowest condo floor some buyers would like getting a 1 floor "UPgrade" (literally) and wouldn't want out, and the developer might be willing to accept the loss of the other lowest-floor buyers who did want to back-out in exchange for the long-term rental income from the office floor.
Until they say where the office floor is going there are too many variations and scenarios to speculate about. Unless you're really obsessed...
