Makes no sense to build an expensive larger stadium for them when they aren't even using all the seats in the current one. Of course the ownership hasn't helped, by consistently increasing prices and charging an arm and a leg for a beer. Apparently $10 for a cup of horse piss.

In 2009, average attendance at McMahon was 36,502 on average. Now it is sitting at 23,000 per game, a 35% drop.

I the CFL has gotta go.

For the Stamps it was ~27K. Also, wasn't the capacity of the stadium lowered sometime after 2009? Attendance might be down but it sure isn't down 35%. If McMahon wasn't such a POS from a fan experience a lot more people would go to games.
Also, I'm sure the wildfire smoke from last year probably had an affect on attendance last year. I know there were games that I would have been interested in going to, but I didn't go because of the smoke.

Seasons starting earlier probably isn't helping either. Also, how was the weather for games last year? Wasn't there a lot of crappy game days? People don't want to suffer in a stadium that makes you suffer at the best of times. The Stamps need a new stadium, preferably covered but Suburbia and his Nenshi buddies hate pro sports.

Kind of a cheap ripoff of Zig Zag rolling papers logo. Still have to laugh that they actually sold those candy cigarettes to kids .Are they even allowed these days?

I didn’t know they were building a round corner with the stone facade. Totally cool
