None of you here can be accused of being bipolar. Nothing positive ever comes out of you.

Perhaps you’re calcium deficient. Some marble cheese might help with that.

Lots of positive posts come from people here. How many times have I commented on how great the new mansion looks?

That’s not a positive.

Work has slowed down on Telus Sky. It's still happening, but taking its swet time.

There's probably no real sense of urgency to get top done when there's numerous suites below that most likely are by no means ready for occupancy. They've got a schedule and plan, it'll get done but not necessarily as quick as some would like. I work in the construction industry and there's a lot still to be done even though a building may look 95% done from the exterior.

Makes sense.

I also wouldn't be surprised if there is a modest slowdown (or lack of urgency) due to financial considerations including taxes and cashflow relating to getting those units occupied.

Dunno about that, TELUS is most likely quite keen on consolidating a good number of their desk jockeys into the Westbank Corporation Sky building and I highly doubt that the largest tenant in the building (TELUS) wants to deal with construction still going on over their heads in the rental suites above.

Looks like Stamps attendance went down again last year even though it was a championship season.

Makes no sense to build an expensive larger stadium for them when they aren't even using all the seats in the current one. Of course the ownership hasn't helped, by consistently increasing prices and charging an arm and a leg for a beer. Apparently $10 for a cup of horse piss.

In 2009, average attendance at McMahon was 36,502 on average. Now it is sitting at 23,000 per game, a 35% drop.

I the CFL has gotta go.

Do you ever research anything before you post? Please, if you're going to make a bold post like that, you can avoid looking stupid by doing a little research first. The lowest attendance game of last season was 23,454. Lowest game out of 10 does not equal an average. Two of the games last season were over 30K. due the math.

Also you might want to go back and look at 2009 as a season. It had an abnormally high average due to the 50k while hosting the cup, and also having a game near the regular season with 45K due to the temporary seats set up for the grey cup

Here's something to help you along the way.

He twists things to make points assuming people will be too stupid and/or lazy to call him on his bullshit. The average league attendance last year was 23K which I'm sure is the figure he used. For the Stamps it was ~27K. Also, wasn't the capacity of the stadium lowered sometime after 2009? Attendance might be down but it sure isn't down 35%. If McMahon wasn't such a POS from a fan experience a lot more people would go to games.

I remember those things. Not used in construction of course, but kids used to think they were cool when then had those those.

You're right - the average is currently higher than I mistakenly stated, but the attendance has certainly dropped over the last decade, and certainly over the last four years.

For last year, how many games sold out for the 2018 season? McMahon has current capacity of 35,400. I'll tell ya'. ZERO. Even the 2018 West Final at McMahon didn't even break 30,000. That's gotta suck, I mean seriously?

The last time McMahon sold out was 7th September 2015 - almost four frickin' years ago, a year when they had four games over 30,000 and a low point of above 26,000.

The reality is pretty bad for Football, especially given the concussions - but not only that, youngsters just don't want to watch. It's an old man's game, and it's dying.

I only relied to your post to point out how wrong you were, and that you should pay attention before posting. I couldn't care less about the debate. There's a CFL thread in the Canada section if care to debate it with someone.
