I've seen many close calls there (people driving in the oncoming traffic lane to pass someone turning right) and it can be difficult to turn left onto 9th N when a lot of traffic is coming off the bypass.

Looks like a lot more Medium Density, which is what we are seeing everywhere. Also, the Neighbourhood Hub is looking a lot more like Major Arterial Commercial.

White City town council voted in favour of a townhouse rental development, a decision which sparked a strong reaction from many citizens.

Town council met Monday night to vote on two bylaws which would allow the creation of a 200-unit housing project. Both were passed with a 3-2 vote.

Massive housing development for White city

There's a proposed development page for it, just didn't say who was building it. https://www.regina.ca/export/sites/Regin...t/PL202600009-5100-Parliament-Avenue.pdf

The Farmer's Market is moving/staying downtown. I don't know if this is a final decision or they will do the RFP for a "permanent" location. Staying downtown at the plaza or on Scarth is nice though.

Grabbed a shot of the Neville Drive 6 story while I was over by Princess Auto. Framing the top floor.

I believe that is the maximum number of floors permissible for a wood frame structure.

210 units!

A large number of units in a single building will always be apartments.

An apartment is a type of dwelling, not ownership (a condo is a type of ownership).

I would love to see a project like this done downtown on a big surface parking lot on the 2000 block Smith or 2100 block Lorne for example.

Mostly shots near downtown. I took a few videos that I still need to edit and upload. All the dirt that was used to temporarily fill in the creek in AE Wilson Park last summer was moved over to the McCarthy pumping station. They cleaned up part of the contaminated area while running new pipes to the pumping station and need to spread new top soil. There is still more contamination that needs to be cleaned up if the city plans to revive the dog park plan (its funding was diverted to the aquatic center).

New drone takes much better videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-XhJ0IgpuI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7-9wEC70dA

Limited demand for that right now.

Total permits for the Riffel Highschool expansion are up to about 2.5 million between this year and last December. I noticed it last week when I was driving along McCarthy. 2 stories of structural steel with a staircase. I should get a few photos this weekend.

West Oak has pulled a $900K permit for its rehab project near the former GM assembly plant. Interesting building.

Does anyone know if the City actually issued the RFP to develop the Yards?

A city employee called me this week to say it went out in January, and when I questioned them on it, they could not give me a concrete answer.
