Yeah I asked about that two pages back (scroll down to near the bottom of the page, and then the top of the next page). We're unlikely to find renders due to it being non-market housing.

That should be the minimum density allowed along all major arterials.

I noticed a crane south of Metrotown, seemed to be between Imperial & Rumble and west of Nelson. Any idea what project that's for?

EDIT: Found it, it's 7415 Sussex with "39 new rental units for families and seniors, and 22 group-home units for adults living with developmental disabilities."

Random tidbit that I've never heard of before but the developers of West Edmonton Mall at one time wanted to build a complex at Lougheed/Boundary. Burnaby city council wanted to avoid detracting from Metrotown's development and wanted film studios to be built on the crown land.

"An underground station would pass under the core". Far out for the time, man.

I don't have any photos, but I noticed today that demolition and site clearing has began on the site of Keltic Development's O2 project in Metrotown's Maywood area on the lot just to the immediate South-East of Thind's Highline project.

And farther to the west, close to the Patterson Skytrain station, demolition seems to be complete for Polygon's Perla project (formerly Olive Court Tower 1) to the immediate west of Bosa's Central Park House,..... as they get ready to begin excavation.

Alaska in Brentwood

Probably my least favourite of the buildings going up in Brentwood west of Willingdon. Looks like it's made out of cardboard. ft. Gilmore Place & Akimbo Brentwood

Aviara was so nice, I thought we were going to see a new level of quality in Brentwood going forward, but it seems like it was just a one-off.

this one seemed to just fly up, It feels like they only started it last fall, but it obviously was earlier but it went so fast.

Extreme density, as in Hong Kong, might be OK with them, but not here.

Typical rant without solutions and with a nice little tinge of racism. Nice!
