Yeah crane lift I think is the term they use for temporary lifts onto buildings and usually aren't for tower installs.

Tower crane installation for Natures Path HQ (for real this time) on Sunday. It’s going to be quite the crane if they need to stage all the way back to Cambie!

Traffic Impact: One lane in each direction on E 6th Ave from Clark Dr to Cambie St will be retained.

Seems like they revised it to Keith Drive. Would've been cool to see a ~2.5km high crane go up though

Onni has updated their page for 375 East 1st, office occupancy now listed for Q4 2027. https://www.onni.com/property/commer...office-retail/
It previously read Q4 2024, and Q1 2022 before that.

Perhaps this means they are close to revealing/submitting their new proposal.

2150 Keith now has a name, Hive.

They're advertising all 164,000 sqft for lease. I take it that means Nature's Path is no longer moving in.

Interesting, I wonder if it is related to this:

BIV: Nature’s Path walks away from organic farm

This was 5 000 acres in Saskatchewan where NP had been growing some of the ingredients for their products. According to BIV, the company described the sale as "...a strategic decision to focus on its core business — manufacturing and marketing organic food".

All that is up currently, they haven't moved in yet. This is what MEC had, EA should be similar. https://goo.gl/maps/JUrTcLhV6YHRejak7

I drove by there the other day and at the very least they had this 90s inspired sign up:

South Flatz

That sign has been up for at least a year. I wonder when/if they will move in.

The lease was announced in July 2021, the big banners tied to the building went up not long after. I’m very certain the fixed sign at the entryway is new within the past week or so.
The announcement said “a phased move-in process is anticipated to begin in Spring, 2022.” https://www.newswire.ca/news-release...896957249.html

Their lease has a lower rate for the first 18 months for the phased move in. So IF the lease started spring 2022 they should be planned to be moved in by fall this year.

…a unique deal structure that provided a significant (18 month) up front gross rental savings to EA while still securing a short term (5 year) commitment thus allowing for initial rent relief to accommodate a staged possession combined with future lease term flexibility. In addition, the team developed long range plan for this location by securing a Right of First refusal on an adjacent site owned by PCI/Low tide which can accommodate 400,000 sf of office space in a planned build to suit office facility.

I missed that last part in the Cushman & Wakefield write up previously, not sure why as it’s pretty significant. As part of the lease agreement EA has right of first refusal to tenant on the adjacent site where this design was presented as a concept prior to the EA lease, the Broadway Plan now allows up to 25 storeys here.

Ah. I haven't noticed the fixed sign yet. That means they'll probably be moving in soon.

There's no new application yet, but they could presumably complete the hole for the approved project in the meantime.
