Thanks.
Quite a bit more spandrel than shown on the renderings.
The dark glass sections look great and just make the rest look cheap.
The proportions are okay, would have looked better with an emphasis on horizontal banding with aluminum panels rather than the glass spandrels.

So tired of almost every new tower being just walls of generic glass and spandrel.

The only way to get past the glass and spandrel meme is to make it associated with cheap construction and poor taste. That is the only way we can return to quality stone towers.

It’s clearly not just “infill towers”. Look at the Gilmore towers.

As much as those in Toronto complain about their towers looking the same, there seems to at least be a willingness there to use a variety of different materials such as precast panels, stamped brick, and in some cases real brick.

Some decent U/C ones include Artists Alley, the Well, Canary House, Cherry House at canary landing, 1071 king west, Galleria III at Galleria on The Park, CG Tower in Vaughan, the hampton, ANX at 316-332 Dupont, augusta block buildings in hamilton, and 89 Avenue Yorkville.
