i like it, the only problem, which seems to be a big problem in asia, is that there are no other tall buildings around to complement it. but the desgin is nice, not exciting, but still good.

They all need to start somewhere... people said the same thing about Jinmao and the CITIC plaza in the '90s. Now look at their neighbors.

Which begs the question; on a rare vlear day, will this tower be visible from the taller Beijing towers?

Looks pretty good, great height and the design is fairly safe.
Sometimes these supertalls are just over the top.

The LOTR image is hilarious.

Yes. This building is architecturally dissapointing. A rather hideous design in my opinion.

Will Saruman be imprisoned inside by the Ents? A better prisoner would be Kim Jong Il.

I'm not confident. Beijing's air quality is some of the worse I've ever seen...or breathed.

I really like it! But I agree, the building needs some complimentary skyscrapers around it.

Very nice design with both a Western and an Asian feeling to it. Actually it won't be lonely since there are already skyscrapers in Tianjin and there are more buildings over 300m that will complete the skyline.

Incredible, the urban planning is indeed well put. Should be interesting to see this city in a decade from now.
