Southern Research is beginning to make itself known as seen from the Expressway.

The rehab hospital (RIP Spain) is a lot taller than I expected it to be! Looking forward to seeing that top out!

The Spain replacement facility has topped out, 11 floors. The old Spain building is scheduled to be torn down and a 200 car parking deck to replace it.
Also some time in June this year, there will be a groundbreaking for a 6 story 165,000 SF Biomedical Research and Psychology building on University BLVD across from the Rec center. The western end of UAB campus will have a few nice new buildings giving it a whole new look.
