It makes such an impact on regional rail. Makes it pretty hard to deny the city is on the come up when you ride past rows of new glass skyscrapers on your way into the city.

Now if they could just repair all the broken concrete, replace the rusted metal, get rid of the weeds and trash, clean off the stains......

Cool post on Instagram from Naked Philly showing this. This is really gonna have an outsized impact on the skyline because of where it's located.

I love that they kept a few floors of office space here - it'll definitely get eaten up. What an amazing location for small - mid size business that needs access to the Acela corridor...

Would love to see JFK lined with 6-7 more of these. So frustrating that Philly can't figure out a way to poach more people and mid-sized businesses to move here from NYC. The value is off the charts.

I updated my model of the tower, as there is changes I glanced over in the most recent renderings and diagrams

2301 JFK old floor plan by Philly SkyGuy, on Flickr

2301 JFK current floor plan by Philly SkyGuy, on Flickr

You'll notice the locations of the balconies have changed. Along with filling that curving indent on the north side and it is possible that the shape of the crown has changed, due to the core being shifted slightly to the west. The crown on my model is based off the old design, as there is currently no good images of the new crown shape. If anything, it's probably extended to the west along with the core. They definitely added more mass to the tower

Wish it was 10-20 stories taller. It deserves to stand out more.

And another reason why I think there was a change to the top, an article from Bizjournals seems to show the true final design.

https://media.bizj.us/view/img/12482...-3008-3012.jpg

The curved floor plates now extend two floors down onto the podium, but not on ground level. That lines up with what has been constructed so far. Previously, the west side of the podium was supposed to be a flat angle.
But also notice on the rendering, there's now open space on top with an overhang

Which concludes me to believing the crown has slightly changed, like I said adding more mass
