Beautiful view. I wish we could have this sight all over the neighborhoods.

Now if only someone can reconfigure that mess where Milwaukee and Kedzie fall into a k hole with that giant eagle. I'm from Los Angeles. I can handle the freeway system no problem. But that is a creation of Satan. Hate it.
Exaggerating a bit?

Never had any problem with it - none at all - the view sucks since the Blue line is underground there - but it goes through just fine. ;-)

Did you hear about this? http://chicago.curbed.com/2014/4/30/...s-with-changes

A few other questions about Logan for anyone who can weigh in:

1.) Glad to hear that Logan station TOD is moving forward. Any word on architect/developer?
2.) Likewise Pierre Bakery site – do plans include the adjacent surface lot?
3.) Any signs of demo at old Mega Mall yet?
4.) Whatever happened to that apple orchard they announced for the south end of the monument?

Thanks! I'm just happy to share the excitement of watching it. I'll bring my nice camera to work on Monday and try to get some better shots.

3. No signs of demo at the Mega Mall site. New condos across the street are making a nice impact. The first phase is done and the second set is near completion. Retail slowly starting to fill in below.

4. Apple Orchard was announced, but currently is still parking and no signs of development at the moment

Thanks, great photos by the way. Starting to see the Logan twins rise above the houses on the horizon from my window on Western.

One of my favorites from this boom, and love the perspective in that second shot.

That redesign looks so much better. And functional since it becomes a true roundabout and not some crazy mess.

That is the best comparison I have seen of all three towers. Wolf point looks so small compared to 150 and RP. Thanks Harry.

Designed by Booth Hansen. If it looks anything like 171 N Halsted (also by BH), I'll be happy.

The Grand Chicago

125 luxury apartments, 26 floors

http://www.thegrandchicago.com/

Does anyone have the details on this one? I'm assuming it is/was the proposal for 161 E Grand.
