Pizza Pizza seems to be expanding. There is a brand new location also here in Metrotown.

Pizza Pizza is huge in Ontario. I'm not sure they have the chops to compete out here, but we'll see. I do prefer Domino's for that super-cheap fresh pizza experience, but PP is ok.

Back in 2018?

https://www.pizzapizza.ca/2018/09/17/piz...-with-first-location-in-new-westminster/

They had 17 locations in 2021 so not sure if they ever disappeared from the market.

Thanks! I see PI-CO coming to Broadway near Cambie as well. Never heard of them, looks like they are bigger in other provinces. Reminds me of the Blaze Pizza model.

They're already on Granville, Downtown, and almost invisible.

Wow, I hadn't even noticed. Only Granville is listed on their website.

I'm guessing chop is being set up on a hope and a prayer. It is not great and not cheap enough to justify worse quality than the keg.

I guess praying on unknowing tourists and business travelers. They have a presence in Alberta but can't say I have ever seen it that busy outside of one time in a suburb of edmonton. Owned by the sandman group aka denny's, moxies and shark club. The richmond location isn't really anything to write home about.

https://chop.ca/locations/richmond-airport/menu

menu for reference...

High Five chicken is opening in Burquitlam, signage says coming soon in the building where the Pizza Factory place is, there is a KAraoke place next door. i think it may be going in that space since the Karaoke place as it seems to not be open anymore.

Saw some people mention Popeyes opening up in Yaletown. Anyone notice any empty storefronts around there?
