Gotta love how the three car garage has become the standard in those kinds of neighborhoods.

I wonder if Fatcat loser is catching all of this discussion about large homes. I bet he's about to blow a gasket if he hasn't already

FWIW, Springbank Hill is where my in-laws live, and not far from those screenshots you posted. I love that neighborhood, the mountain views from that area are spectacular.

And what site is this crane at just a few blocks north of the West Village site?

I like the look of that second house, but the rest are boring McMansion type places. I know many of you would like to live in a large house, if you'd did you'd soon find it gets boring quickly.

A modern style, but not the typical modern style, it's got that extra zest to it.

A nice elegant simple home

Ultra modern with some flair

Well, I have seen the pics and the discussion and you'd be wrong. I'm not going to blow a gasket because to be honest I just don't care that much. McMansions way out in the middle of nowhere are fine. It's not a waste of land at that point.

When I see pics like this they don't make me blow a gasket, but it really makes me wonder why some people get such a boner over these houses? They're just like all the other cookie cutter suburban houses except larger, and thus more wasteful. That and they are out in a neighborhood in the middle of nowhere. Like holy completely fucking boring.

It's a rental project by Cidex. There's a thread at SRC with the details in case anyone's interested.

Other mansion is almost done. Construction commenced at later time than large one, but is almost complete.

That brick home is one of the nicest on the hill. When I first saw the pic showing the two houses getting torn down I thought it was that one, and was disappointed. That house has beautiful decorations during the Christmas season...probably the nicest of the ones on the hill.

Request.

When all you have to say is "nice photos", please consider not quoting a long list of images, because that adds no value and is more than annoying particularly for folks using their phones. If you don't want to remove them, perhaps add a spoiler tag. If you have a comment on particular photos, just quote those.

I'm sure @BlaineN will agree with the above.
