unless you are not up close such as sitting from the opposite side or watching distant camera views on TV.. In every panoramic photo I have seen they look grey. Kind of weird since they are actually black close up.

It's hard to tell, but it looks like the seats still have the plastic coverings, making them appear more grey, as shown in this City of Ottawa pic:

Last few posts deleted? What's up mods?

I guess I have been deemed to have GONE TOO FAR?

So much for open discussion, I guess.

You are rapidly turning into the biggest argument there is against the institution of democracy.

Do what most of the regular contributors to this forum have done and ignore Alecz_Dad.... or his mom, sister, brother or any other family member for that matter.

There's no discussion. You're spamming this thread. You're like a five year old high on sugar flailing his arms in the background for attention.

We've tried to have a discussion and be fair to you, but you make it impossible, John.

I would, at a guess, say that the fact that you used images without attribution in those posts, which is a rules violation, would be the cause. Not the force of your arguments.

I love the location. It's great to be near the canal and the retail and I'll be a season ticket holder of the RedBlacks. As a dog owner I much prefer these to the condo towers (it's easier to get out for a walk).

I was hoping to get some different opinions on them from this wise group though.

Thanks for any thoughts.
Did you end up buying?

I went to the launch and was very tempted by the very reasonable prices on a sq ft basis, but got there a bit late and ended up passing. It seems like they sold over 2/3 of the inventory by the end of the first day. Today is the last day for people to back out so some inventory should re-appear.

Thanks for asking. I didn't end up buying but more for personal reasons. I think these are well priced and it will be a lot of fun to live there. I did purchase my RedBlack season tickets today though.

The terrace homes sold very well, I dropped by the Sales Centre today and they only have two units available. I was second in line on the launch day and there were approx 40 people in line by the time the doors opened.

I guess that is pre-backout deadline? Did you see how the towns sold in comparison?

The two smallest and least expensive townhome models were sold out, but the larger ones were still available.

New Lansdowne pics are up on the city website. http://ottawa.ca/en/city-hall/planning-and-development/week-lansdowne. The wood veil on the stadium and the Great Porch are looking quite nice.

I got the pictures from Ottawa Fury FC webpage: (www.ottawafuryfc.com)

They actually often have better (and more frequent) updates than the Redblacks.

Arguably I'm getting more and more excited for this franchise...the two signings they've made thus far are top quality (considering they're coming to the NASL level), and there's a real possibility this team could be an an absolute force in terms of marketing and drive.

The RedBlacks may have more updates in a couple of weeks when they are actually able to sign players. They also have the expansion draft in a few weeks, and hopefully a coaching announcement soon.

I hope the Fury does well. Soccer hasn't been marketed well in Ottawa in the past, but with the support of the OSEG organization they may be able to really get the word out.

Well we can certainly do our part by liking them on facebook and following on twitter at the very least:
