We have had this discussion already. The original glass manufacturer went out of business, so they had to order from a different one. The intention was to make the old and the new match 100% and the new glass is almost exactly the same black color when viewed from the
same level or above, as seen in many photos that have been posted.
It is unfortunate that it reflects a blue tone when viewed
from below, the one direction where it counts the most.
They still have some old glass panes in storage, so lower floor windows can still be replaced with the original glass when they break. Without a picture, I am thinking that osirisboy is talking about some panes that have been replaced ages ago. There are several on the lower portion which stick out quite a bit, as they have never removed those shiny clips.
