Uhm..... in reality it could be a fake fishing activity by Russia which is actually used to control the Atlantic coasts of Canada

28C and sunny. Absolutely stunning day. A bit too dry for my liking but no complaints.

Low of 14C this morning. Big variation because of the dryness.

The warmspot was Bagotville, QC at 29.3C

Warmest low was Point Pelee, ON at 17.5C

If you like empty beaches, go at 5pm when the weather is nice and school isn't out yet. Or go when it's cool and overcast.

Random flower on the beach.

Frankenstairs is constantly evolving. Old lumber, concrete pavers, logs and a soil/sand mix.

Looks like a wild rose. They can be very fragrant, especially in the heat.

11C, overcast with drizzle in Moncton at 9 AM, going up to 15C this afternoon with showers.

There will be a cool northeasterly flow off the gulf for the next couple of days, then things will improve.

Its been nice having a cool and wet past few days, everything seems so fresh and green. We have a warm and dry system with potential of highs of 32c by Friday/Saturday and high twenties for the forseeable future.

In typical Canadian fashion, as the west warms up, we cool down. Looks like the next few weeks will be at or a bit below seasonal.

Today is supposed to get up to 24, but at least near the lake their is an annoying fog that isn't lifting keeping it cooler at 21. Still a very pleasant day.

Started off overcast, but has cleared up into a pleasant day. Saw a couple at-risk species this afternoon

Spotted gar

Eastern fox snake

Nice. Ive only seen one gar species in the wild. A gar pike in the Etobicoke Creek near the mouth with Lake O. The capital of gar fish would be Texas.

Indeed a rare find. People do catch them on rare occasion in the Ottawa River and Northern Ontario. But other sub species like the big longnose gar. I just looked up the spotted one and its only down by your way and east end of Lake O. What an odd distribution.

Beautiful fauna. That's a handsome snake.

It was threatening to rain, but never did during the day. High of 16c.

Looks like we'll have some rain tonight, and possibly tomorrow. After that, things start to heat up and dry out.

One of my neighbourhood parks: China Creek Park

Fun fact - My brother used to live in the two storey apartment at the top of the photo in the mid-90s

30C (humidex of 31) and sunny. Another scorcher and absolutely beauty of a day.

This is actually our 13th day above 25C this year. Pretty great start. As a comparison Lytton has 4 such days this year while Toronto only 6. Only Windsor (at 16) has more.

Low of 15C this morning.

The warmspot was Bagotville, QC at 31.6C.

Warmest low was Downtown Montreal at 19.0C.

I saw that Montreal had its second most days above 19 degrees ever this May. Been a pretty good streak there since mid May.

It was quite foggy. I came home from the Toronto Islands today, and visibility was VERY poor. I couldnt see Toronto's skyline until the ferry was about 200 metres from the shoreline.
This gives an idea of the fog yesterday:

A mixed bag from morning to evening. Another day that was supposed to be rainy but it was mostly nice.
Dark clouds to the north, blue skies and sunshine to the south.

Monday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 16 C, the low was 11 C.

Still very thick fog. It's a bit unnerving Feels like once it clears there'll be a lot of horrible things in the news from around the world that we've missed lol Makes no sense. But it feels that way.
