I haven't heard much complaining about Icon's height by anyone, not the city, the residents or the press. It's like everyone got their complaints out about Soho Italia and didn't even notice Icon going even taller.
Now if only we could get some shovels in the ground and some cranes reaching new heights on the city skyline - and soon.
the focus of this image I took was not Soho, it was the sunset. But I'm curious about the top of the Soho building, is it going to be like that or is it something temporary? It seems different than the renderings.
Hitched a ride with someone to Kemptville yesterday, it was my first time being on the 417 west of downtown in almost two years.. and holy crap, this one is VERY prominent from the highway. It looks like it practically looks over it even though its quite a few streets down. Icon & Sky are going to look MASSIVE from the Queensway...
Does anyone know if the rooftop has any amenities or common areas.
The top floors are mechanical roofs and two penthouses each other, but the amenities are in the podium that connects the two towers. They have an amazing array of amenities, actually.
