It is a beautiful angle. I think it adds interest the way the street spindle offsets the building surfaces from one another.

Very true. Though there's enough parking lots in that area that I don't think it'd be too hard to fill that emptiness with high rises. Plus Gilbert's proposed soccer stadium complex includes a couple of highrises so hopefully it'll be a start.

^ Great point, and I know that skyline density really doesn't matter at the end of the day. There are far greater issues that actually impact Detroit residents. Having said that, I would like to see business consider building on that side of downtown.

Looks like it's down to the details now. Notice screen testing on the shell of the stadium.

Also, on the LCHQ, the northern side of the glass facade has started going up.

This has been my favorite corner of the building. I just wish they could have kept the intensity of this detail throughout. That interior though....just stunning.

They've started cleaning Hotel Eddystone and the banners are up inside the arena.

The cleaning of the Eddystone makes me happy. I was worried they were going to try and weasel out of restoring it.

For some reason, the interior web came view of LCA isn't on the website anymore.

Looks like the small video board along Woodward has finally been installed.

Also, take a look at the bottom right of this photograph. Any idea what that wooden wall could be for?

*Sorry, not sure how to add images on here.

Less than a month away from the stadium ready for use. Of course, construction in other parts of the district/arena will still be on going.
