Wow, it's indoors?! I thought it was an Albertville or that other "outlet" mall at Kenastyon and Lindenwood Dr type outdoor strip mall.

This project has changed so many times that I'm not sure if this is the most up-to-date drawing, but if it is, it appears to be designed on the figure-8 style that CrossIron Mills outside of Calgary is. Is that the go-to layout for outlettish malls?

If it's indoors then that's a smart move.

That plan still makes it look outdoors. In the video, obviously indoors as they fly through the mall. I'm not sure of exactly what's what. But the outlet mall portion seems to be only the figure 8 style thing. The other buildings I assume will be your typical retail destination.

It is not outdoors and esquire, that is not an up to date plan.

This video is most accurate.

The store layout image at the end is almost exactly what they are building.

Wow, Winnipeg's first Eclipse and r3purposed locations!

I thought Harvard was the developer... is this is partnership with Ivanhoe Cambridge, then?

I good place to look for speculation on tenants at Outlet of Seasons is to look at the tenant list of the sister property which has opened: Outlet Collection at Niagara

From Biff's list only the newer entrant DSW and Converse, which is a Nike owned brand, are missing. The Winnipeg property is slightly smaller than Niagara so it will likely drop a few stores suggesting some of the stores already on Kennaston are likely staying put, ie Marshalls. Niagara also has a stand alone Bass Pro Shop anchor while Seasons is showing an anchor mid mall. Pretty sure I have said it before, but just in case will say it again, my gut feel is HBC will have an outlet store in Seasons. Based on the current leaning of HBC it seems they are winding down HBC Outlets and preparing to flip their banner to Off 5th.

this project should create over a 1000 jobs which is nice, because I am expecting atleast 40 stores and 20 employees per store atleast, also all the new save on foods locations should create tons of jobs as well...

they should also build a hotel and water park on this property

I wonder how this project will affect polopark and kenaston outlets

is there enough money in this city for all these retail stores,, or are they hoping to attract ppl from sask, Ontario and north Dakota?

The main anchors (sort of so far) are DSW, Nike and Old Navy. There are 2 main anchor spots left to fill. All of the other stores we have in existing malls although there is another Disney store which is interesting.

Is there a Lacoste store in Winnipeg? I wasn't aware of one other than Harry Rosen.

Agreed, looking forward to it. Hopefully some sort of small grocery component.

Do any of them have groceries? I've only been to the Polo one and it's no different from Dollarama except that I find they have a smaller selection of useful things and eveything is a quarter more.

The Bargain Shop that it is replacing had a small grocery section - my hope is that the Dollar Tree has one as well.

I doubt that the Jack & Jones is confirmed since in the article talking about BESTSELLER they specifically said they would only open mono-brand stores based on sales of their specific brands (J&J is one of them).

Not disputing, but what I saw on paper was "Jack & Jones"
