124st or the Brewery was my choice. I never had a problem getting to the Jasper ave location. They also had a better mens section than the south side one. But when you are dealing with someone with mobility issues, the south side location was better.

Also the Jasper Ave location took a hit because of the walk in business at lunch hours was way down.

What do you mean? It comes down to market size. If I am not mistaken these brands all had boutiques in Holt but with them departing they've moved to freestanding stores which is a good thing. I believe Gucci is the next standalone coming to WEM as the boutique in HR did very, very well.

The only boutiques that were in our Holts was Gucci and LV

Stuff like Chanel, Burberry required going to Calgary or Vancouver

Kunitz update - sadly, parking is king once again at the expense of a more urban experience.

I thought Pet Valu opened a short while ago, but then again I haven't walked by since the Jasper Ave construction started in March/April. At least the old Mongolie Grill space is finally filled after sitting empty for Lord-knows how long. Now the next prominent corner to be filled is the SE of Jasper/109 St.

Can anyone recommend any good men's local clothing stores (casual)? I'm pretty tired of the local mall chain stores and looking for some new brands!

not sure if it’s “casual enough” for you but you might want to try eddie’s mens wear at 5450 calgary trail, a second generation local haberdasher. https://www.eddiesmenswear.com/
