Every urban settlement in the world requires tank farms for fuel storage, seems odd to get angry at Kinder Morgan for this... Would look no better or worse if it were replaced with a solar farm, a wind farm, or even townhouses IMO. Industrial facilities need to go somewhere.

About the towers themselves, what a change to the area. I remember thinking how large many of the older towers were, now they are dwarfed by Amazing Brentwood and Solo.

I saw those white ornate balcony rails going up - I actually find them to be a pleasant surprise.

They look good against the backdrop of a dark tower.

The tower portion is a surprise to the upside, for me at least.

Interesting detail on the railing. Will have to see more go up before I comment but I bet the horizontal banding will help emphasize the towers height.

If only they had done something like this one the Wall Mansion downtown, instead of the white fritted glass that doesn't really go well with the beige spandrel.

Thanks!

I hope the metal pattern on the balcony railings is completed with white fritted glass.
Clear glass won't have enough impact from a distance.

Given the location on the tower, I'm wondering if it's just a test case (like on the Wall Mansion)

The second and third towers will help fill in the gap to cement the continuation of the skyline between east and west Brentwood Town Centre. Thanks for the updates!

So they actually have the frames for the billboards at the base of Tower 2.
I wonder if there really will Be a sign with "THE AMAZING BRENTWOOD"

I'm really hoping they drop "amazing" from this and it's renagated to the marketing for the condos!! When something is truly amazing it doesn't need to be stated. This name has always bugged me

Agreed.

This was Rennie at his worst.

Right up there with the most boring Metro building being "World Class"

Don't see world class on Kengu Kuma or Vancouver House?

When its obvious, it doesn't need to be stated.

Yeah, the name does sound somewhat like that for a Circus or magic show. Strange thing is I got used to it over time.

Q: Oh where did you move to?
A: A week ago I moved to the AMAZING Brentwood Tower 2.

Yup, it's lame.

But it has a mall!
