For such a large project, it should still have a name. Publicity can bring in good renters and even retailers for the CRUs. This project is way too low key.
Yes the VSOCC centres have a 1+ year waiting list, they are always expanding.

If it's 100% rental, it's a bit too early. People will always ask the price once you start advertising. They probably want to wait until 6 months out to be able to have firm numbers.

Ha, I didn't even notice the spandrel at first. I guess that's a good thing (?)

Do beige and yellow work together?

It's looking good, I like how that courtyard will feel when finished. The yellow I'm not sold on, may look weird with the putty colour of the spandrel.

As for those single storey retail units and empty looking warehouse on Homer St., I'm kinda surprised they are still there, are there any other old single storey retail units left in Yaletown? Their days have to be numbered.

There are some at Seymour and Davie (days also numbered I expect): https://www.google.ca/maps/@49.2765675,-...w%3D39.618629%26pitch%3D0!7i13312!8i6656

Apparently those ones at Davie and Seymour are owned by Townline. Prime spot overlooking the park.

Will likely be short to limit shadowing of the park though.

That calls for some "innovative design".

About one floor per week. I think this is the fastest part of the construction.

Not just that, the podium already has almost all its windows and spandrel with the interior steel walls framed yet the tower part has only been poured several floors above that. Maybe it's a perfect storm of available labour and materials being ready for installation.

So if going by the model, are we to assume the yellow accents will be alone the outward facing balcony slab edges?

The development app even implies the tower to be at least 140M.

Are they measuring from sea level?
Looks like this DP was pulled, no record of it on the city's website. The height must have been an error.

Based on the model, yes, but the balconies facing Richards have changed from the model.
There is now a transition from a continuous balcony to separate ones.

Those rectangular holes in the slab suggests they'll do it like The Mark, with an individual railing on each balcony,
...Maybe with a separate yellow fascia panel at the slab edge (along the continuous part creating a staggered effect)?
Or maybe the yellow strip is gone?
