Spectacular day today, 22.9 with a humidex of 27 and sunny

Apparently the loud sound we heard during the eclipse was not thunder, but a sonic boom due to the rapid temperature and pressure drop.

I'm going to read up on it, because I don't necessarily believe what people say. There was some kind of loud boom, which I assumed was thunder.

It was a beautiful day yesterday, the sun's rays was crisp and bright, casting dark and define shadows, crazy thing to say or notice but it seemed different, maybe I was just having a very good day
Cherry blossom people were out in force yesterday.

I wished I was there. You were the very few lucky non umbraphiles (yes I googled that info) to witness the eclipse. Thanks for posting.

For those look at my Hamilton updates (Though my cell phone camera is not great, so it migrates to that aesthetic naturally)

It's 17C currently, which is rather hot for me. I look forward to night time at this rate. Anyways, it's partly cloudy, with a thin veil of cloud cover across the sky, but the sun is still getting through just fine.

It's sunny and 61F in Toronto but I'm in pain, debating taking a T3. Basically I'm bedridden for the next few weeks, possibly a month...

Blue skies and sunshine earlier in the day and then the sky got a bit hazy.

Wednesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 14 C, the low was 6 C.

The was an exceptionally grating, demoralizing cold snap but it's partially broken today. Should hit 4C with sun

Landed at Pearson yesterday to some beautiful Spring weather - 18 and sunny.

Short lived - today is seasonal temperature wise, but pretty miserable with lots of rain and low clouds. Similar pattern through the weekend, it looks like. Currently 10, going up to 14 with potential thunderstorms.

Looks like we will get some very nice weather next week; high teens or even low twenty's with some sunny days. Pattern after that looks to be a bit cooler than average, but nothing extreme. April could be our first below average month since August 2023.

Everything is also very, very green. Lots of trees and shrubs leafing out, and the grass is lush. Early April is usually still turd brown season in the GTA, so it's a nice change of pace.

I can not get enough of the Marine Building.
Have you tried to photograph in the building? I've read in some social media sites that they were told not to take pictures in the building.

I overseeded my lawn just in time for the upcoming 4 days of rain. Things are also quite green and lush for this time of year over here. We would normally still have to deal with some frosty nights here and there, but there’s no such thing in the long range forecast right now except a couple of close calls.
