Something happened earlier today and I though "I should post that!" but I forget what it was so obviously it isn't interesting.

Did it have something to do with street hookers or white trash?

I tweeted my excursion to a Japanese restaurant with my brother and his friends from the university's anime club.

Wasn't nearly as hilarious/dorky as I'd hoped, aside from the Mexican telenovela playing on the TV, but even that was a stretch. My brother got drunk on sake bombs and Sapporo and I had to drive him and his friends home.

Sadly, no. It is winter now, so all the hookers are hiding indoors.

Around these parts you can easily find strip clubs if that'll do the trick. In Mpls, that is (I still don't even know if it's possible to change your username, so I have to keep reminding everyone I'm Minneapolisite now). Hell, there's a shabby one within short walking distance from my apartment.

In Columbus, well, you have to go to the suburban parts of the city up north for the fancy ones (Kahoots) and the trashy ones (House of Babes) are out on the south and west sides of town. Actually, the west side saw just about all of them close: Rumors was shut down for prostitution, the new Misty's Showbar lasted maybe only a handful of months (heard that place was trouble) and so I think that leaves The Candy Store, which conveniently has a yummy taco truck out front that does in fact also sell sweets in the form of homemade ice cream, so in case it was actually candy you were wanting you can get your fix. Though, I'm puzzled as to what would make the strip-club patrons so hungry for tacos.

Hahah. In East St. Louis and environs, some of the strip clubs and strip club nodes (which, some strip clubs on the eastside can be a little out of control...you can do whatever the stripper will let you, which for a healthy, disease free young man is usually more than you bargained for, and the first time i went to a strip club not in the east st. louis vicinity the bouncer literally kicked my ass out the door because i didn't know that usually you can't do that in a "normal" municipality.......and you're lucky to not get something in your eye just walking through the dark "back areas" like fluids or bullets) have hot dog stands in front...eh, nah...........

Those are hilarious. I don't know if I already said this, but I long ago I thought that I narrowed down a Milwaukee's Best "belt" that follows the Mississippi River valley north out of St. Louis towards Iowa...didnt know how far north it went. Reason I say this is that I find more empty cases/cans of THE BEAST left behind by fisherman along the Mississip River than any other kind of beer. I dont know what's south of St. Louis along the Mississippi River...I don't fish out of it there...

I once was an acquaintance of a bank messenger from St Louis. He told me about those shady clubs you speak of. C-section scars and tampon strings galore.

Keystone Light is my drug of choice. I like that watered -down taste.

argghh.. the temperature went above 32 for the last two days allowing for our record setting amount of snow to melt into water and freeze overnight when the temps dipped. Now its over 32 again (at one point 47) and raining. We're suppose to go back to normal 20 degree weather starting Monday which means we will be stuck with a whole lot of ice

It was 10F with high winds and glaring sun here today. The passive solar heating in my room made the temperature inside almost 80 degrees warmer than outside. It would be nice if we had curtains on the exterior of the building.
