As with all SSP Van' threads, there is a lot of well-researched information being posted here.
Bien. Is anybody with the tech know-how willing to to show Hwy 1 before, after, and during this project?
I think that, especially for highway aficionados, visually showing the progress: the way it was (4 Lanes all the way
) to the present, some of it finished, more to come, actually seeing it would be enlightening.
To anyone interested in this viusal project, thank you for your time and consideration. {From the Atlantic shores, to the cities of Central Canada, over the Shield, and the Prairies on west} this is the main road and only road, so DO IT RIGHT! > To put it in perspective, the only other two vehicular routes, which reach to Hope (with three route choices) or elsewhere, these being Hwy 7, or the now- upgraded 99 past whistler to Lillooet. Highway 1 through the Valley should, IMHO be upgraded to an "Interstate" scale, with no fewer than 6 or 8 lanes, depending on area usage.
