And you guys make it sound like Montréal has no height. When Toronto, Calgary gets a 400m tower then we can talk.

Agreed... Montreal's skyline feels mature and distinctive, though not dated per se. It hasn't been inundated by generic glass boxes and maintains a skyline with distinctive features. I'd still rank it second, after Toronto, followed by Calgary and then Vancouver.

Although I like the new Edmonton Arena and I think it's an objectively good building, it reminds me of a toilet seat. Like, a really sleek and nice toilet seat.

I think it looks fantastic too. And lots of potential fun for nicknames.

I find that in some views it looks a bit like the appendange men use when standing over the toilet seat.

Maybe it could be nicknamed "The Dick"?

That would fit in nicely with the Rogers name.

When "The Dick" becomes THE nickname for that place, I want due credit!

Oh, for the love of God, grow a pair...

Speaking of a pair, now that Roger's has been described as limp and generously-sacked, I'll never be able to unsee it....thanks a lot, assholes.

I was actually being Sarcastic
But on Facebook he does have a propensity for underrating Calgary's
Population & say's where like Maybe 1.4 Million or 1.5 Million @ the most.
(& then his American friends think the City is "tiny" even when the Calgary Region is much closer to 1.6 Million these days). Not that that matter's
but I typically round to the highest possible number/ denominator because I want American's to think Canada is bigger for population than it actually is.
After all Calgary's Downtown already kind of defies the mind in a way. (No reason to make us feel "small" either).

Dude, Chadillac is the biggest Calgary booster in recorded history, you need to do a simple forum search. No idea how you got a different impression, probably since he's already posted all the new photos twice already (as soon as they came out).

Actually some do, If u tell them today that the GTA is almost 7 Million they'll say: "Wow that's fairly big".
But if u say to them its under 7 Million. (Perhaps 6), they will ignore u or end up saying things like "so what, Philly, DC, Houston, Miami are all "just as big" or bigger", when we all know that's untrue.

I ALWAYS boost all of our Cities especially our Biggest/ largest one!

Haha I guess so.. :/ But like its Frustrating because like when he say's things like Calgary is only 1.4 Million American's will say stuff like
"Thats it?" Calgary is like as big as Raleigh, or Memphis or Jacksonville.
(Which is untrue). Now suddenly if u say its 1.6 Million they will be comparing it to US Cities/ Metro's like Austin or Indianapolis, (& even occasionally Columbus/ Cleveland). This is a HUGE difference.
& it certainly feels busier than like all of those Cities. (Its not only about looking "Bigger" as well).
The same can be said for Toronto.
People that say Toronto is only 6 Million Piss me off.
Why? Because then American's will also say Houston, Dallas, Chicago are way, way, bigger/ busier when that's untrue. Toronto feels about as Big/ Busy as Chicago. It isn't on the same level as Cities like Atlanta, Miami, or Philly. (It's vastly ahead of those).
It doesn't only look bigger than all of them, it is! & it "feels" considerably bigger/ busier than all of them too!

You see where the frustration comes from? Infact I would say Confidently that by now/ today's date Canada's Golden Horseshoe is at least a good 40-50k Larger by now than the Chicago Metro Area. (Which should be just shy of 9.6 Million People). According to my Calculations the way Ontario is growing the Population is already well over 14 Million & should be close to 14.1 Million towards the end of this year.
So ya Canadian Cities are not small. I believe only LA or NYC @ this Point will have larger Population's than Canada's "Golden Horseshoe." Chicago's Economy simply isn't as powerful or growing anywhere near as fast. (Just look @ the Statistics).

PS. The Calgary Region IS Our GTA, if Toronto gets to add Oshawa, Brock, Scugog, Whitby, & Burlington to its Metro but where somehow not allowed to add Okotoks/ the Foothills then how is that not fair as a reflection for our population? After all even if u add these area's Canadian Cities/ CMA's still tend to be FAR more densely populated/ packed than comparable US MSA's anyhow.

When you state those inflated numbers you need to clarify that you're using the CSA method to calculate them. You can't use CSA numbers when comparable cities in Canada are using CMA. Chadillac used to get crucified for using CSA-like stats for Calgary when comparing with CMA populations in Ottawa and Edmonton, give the man some slack
