No confirmation yet. I'm still going with 848' as the height. Those are the office levels U/C. The floor height increase to get to 883' was only planned for the residential levels.

Are they sticking with rental for the residential?

What changed from the 848' height of the approved elevations to get the 28' increase?

Where'd you hear that? That's a nice increase. That's huge! It's already a massive building. It'll dwarf everything until the waller creek supertall kicks off. I'm so impressed with this structure already

Scraperwill doesn't reveal his sources and rarely posts. But when he does post, his posts are usually money in the bank.

100% agree!

One question...is it 65 or 66 stories? Their marketing posters at the site indicate 66 stories.

I would be OK with a 108' spire. That is still shorter than the Fairmont and would make this a supertall.

So does this height increase mean taller upper floors, more floors or a spire?

They added 1' to 26 residential levels. The top of the tower is now 1,358. The sidewalk at the SW corner of the building is 482.

I'm still assuming there will have to be a resubmittal of the site plan because of the height bump. Right? I would still be interested in seeing the building elevations for it. I'm curious to see how the bump in height changes the shape of the building in relation to the upper setbacks. Will the height increase include the setbacks getting a height bump, or just the highest part of the roof?

For example, at the moment, the north setback is at 786 feet. A 26 foot bump in height there would put it at 812 feet.

The south setback is at 658 feet now, so a 26 foot bump in height would make it 684 feet.

Also, the old height was 848 feet, so, for it to be 876 feet it would be a 28 foot increase in height, not 26 feet.

The low point on the approved elevations is 482' (rounded) as scraperwill said. I don't recall where we got what would have been 480'.

Still 65 stories? Or 66 - like the marketing around the tower construction site?

It looks like 66 on the released elevations. Sixty-five seems to be the highest apartment level, but 66 looks like an amenity level where we have seen the rendering of Austin's future highest pool. But there is no 13th level on the drawings on the project's website.

1,358'?!?! So now this is the tallest in TX?? Are you being facetious?

Oh, I re-read. So that's elevation...or?

Height above sea level, so you have to subtract the base of the towers height above sea level.

The core reached level 30 today. The office levels end at 32.
