Well these are offices, one isn't supposed to live at their office!
Well, I mean, there's street shadowing regulations, so maybe people would have thought office towers too close to each other was claustrophobic or something. :/

It seems to be 2 meters.

Weird. You see towers all over the place built right up against each other.

It's been a while since photos have been posted on the demolition - these are from last Thursday - I just couldn't post them then as Flickr was trying to get itself sorted out.

May 23, 2019 - my pics:

I think it may once again time for another scrub-ub and recladding. It looks grubby, somehow unfresh.

WeWork is taking 10 floors, sub heading says they will be the anchor tenant but this isn’t repeated or confirmed.

Quote:
WeWork Cos Inc. has inked a deal to anchor a new office tower being built by a unit of Sun Life Financial Inc. in Vancouver.

New York-based WeWork will occupy 10 floors spanning 170,000 square feet in BentallGreenOak’s new Vancouver development, dubbed B6, according to statements from both companies. The building is 32 stories tall and totals 534,000 square feet, with retail space on the ground floor.

B6, located at 1090 West Pender St., started construction in January and is slated for completion early 2023. BentallGreenOak will also be a tenant at the building, taking up about 45,000 square feet, Astles said. Sun Life’s real estate arm, Bentall Kennedy, and GreenOak Real Estate merged earlier this year, with Sun Life holding a majority stake in the combined firm.

Bentall's been itching to get out of Bentall Centre after its management of that complex ended.

There is another tenant in and around the same size who has apparently done a deal or was very close. They are more of a traditional 'anchor' tenant from a type of business standpoint.

WeWork, while a well run company and a great absorber of space, is not really an anchor tenant since they just turn around and re-lease out the space again.

Is this the tenant that according to rumour will be "very surprising," if it comes true?

Is it a very famous tenant that one can search for easily on the internet? (Read between the lines)
