I mean, I don't think we're a small skyline anymore - certainly not by global standards, and assuming we get 2-3 of the big ones under planning we'll be in that L.A., Houston, Atlanta, Seattle tier of "next one ups" skylines in the US. Maybe we aren't at the top of that list, but we're in that general grouping of "that's a large dense skyline in a city center of a car-centric place".
Chicago, NYC and Toronto are the sort of unassailable skylines in North America that just have a "goes on forever" density + height.
