Well they'll probably do a floor a week, and they're about 15 floors into 65, so likely early 2022?

Outstanding photos! In these angles the podium glass and screening is looking a lot nicer than I expected (mainly because of the amount of glass, but the screening isn't offensive to me either). Wondering how they're going to finish out the other sides...

Thanks so much for taking these and keeping us updated.

The shape of the tower portion is starting to become very obvious from the webcam view.

Hopefully now that we're onto the tower this will start to get skyward fast.

Wow, that's a lot more tower progress than you can see from street level. You love to see it.

OHH the Behemoth rises now. This building will dominate the skyline for a decade. There are so many different looks it has from every angle.

I get the feeling that this is gonna look and feel much bigger than an 800 footer. It's practically on higher elevation plus there is no other building that will look as nearly as tall in all of downtown. It's going to really stand out.

Yeah, if you drive down W. 6th, it already feels that way. The 13-ish floors of parking across essentially the entire city block make this feel absolutely massive, in a way that other buildings on similar footprints (the Frost/Fairmont/JW Marriot, etc.) don't.

And to be honest -- in renderings that don't show exaggerated perspectives -- you can see that it's going to look kind of stubby. Not that it's not tall, because of course it is . . . but proportionally it's going to look pretty thicc, and not quite tall enough to be elegant. TBH, it looks like a supertall that had 200' lopped off at the barber's.

Now that we can really see the size and height of the podium deck, it makes it apparent that this is going to be a really unique space in Austin. The diagonal views down the CVC are going to be special. I hope I can find a way to get up there.

Yep it will be chubby and then a few yards away it will be elegant and slender! I look at that space when I'm driving and think ...WOW that monster will be the center of our skyline.

Jeez that parking garage is massive. And it looks like it's designed in such a way where it won't be convertible in the future. What a shame.

It's starting to show up from St. Ed's.

Watching the web cam , I wonder if the web cam operator got a bag of meth today, For a while, the cam was like a slide show of everything EXCEPT 6 X Guad, including a shot of two scantily dressed women, basking by their pool. and a good shot of the Austin High School track field. They must have bought one of those high resolution cameras from China because you could see people working in their yards in West Lake Hills!
